Dental implants are used to replace failing or missing teeth by placing implants into the jaw that support fixed teeth. These procedures are often referred to as All-on-4, All-on-X, or same-day teeth. Many patients are surprised to learn these procedures can vary greatly between offices. At Dental Implants of Spring Hill, we believe patients deserve clarity before making an important decision.
Same-day dental implants allow failing teeth to be removed, implants placed, and fixed teeth screwed down the same day. Unlike traditional approaches, patients are never sent home in removable dentures.
Patients leave with teeth screwed down from day one.

During your consultation, advanced imaging including a 3D CT scan and x-rays is performed to evaluate bone structure and plan implant placement.
All implant surgeries are performed in our fully equipped on-site surgery suite. We work with a board-certified anesthesiologist, meaning one doctor is dedicated solely to anesthesia while Dr. James Muir focuses entirely on the implant surgery.
This two-doctor surgical model is one of the safest ways to perform full-arch implant procedures and allows patients to sleep comfortably through surgery with the highest level of medical oversight.

Dr. James Muir is trained in five different advanced approaches to placing dental implants. This specialized training is why other doctors come to train with him.
These advanced techniques allow Dr. Muir to place implants even in cases where there is insufficient bone using traditional methods. If you’ve been told in the past that you are not a candidate for dental implants, there is a strong possibility that we may still be able to help you.
Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the process is. Surgery is performed with a board-certified anesthesiologist, allowing you to sleep comfortably through the procedure while Dr. James Muir focuses entirely on implant placement. After surgery, some swelling and soreness are normal, but these symptoms are typically well managed with prescribed medications and post-operative instructions. Many patients report less discomfort than they expected.
Recovery happens in stages. In the first few days, mild swelling and tenderness are common as your body begins healing. You’ll leave the office with fixed teeth the same day, so there is no period without teeth or removable dentures. Over the following months, the implants integrate with the bone while you wear your fixed, reinforced temporary teeth. Regular follow-up visits ensure healing is progressing as planned before final teeth are placed.
Yes. Failing teeth are removed, implants are placed, and fixed teeth are screwed down the same day. Patients are never sent home with removable dentures. You leave with teeth that are secure, functional, and designed specifically for your smile.
Dental implants are designed to be a long-term solution. With proper planning, advanced implant techniques, and good oral hygiene, implants can last for many years—and often decades. Final zirconia teeth are selected for their strength, durability, and long-term performance.
Full arch treatment starts at $14,500 per arch.

Do I leave with my teeth screwed down from day one? Who performs the anesthesia? Is there an on-site surgery suite? Is there an on-site lab? What implant techniques are used? What happens after surgery?

I’ve spent over 17 years placing dental implants and believe in education, transparency, and treating every patient like family. I’ve trained in multiple advanced implant techniques because I want to help patients who have been told they have no options.
When planned properly, same-day dental implants can be truly life-changing.
